Examples Of Misdemeanor Offense

In October of 1981, I was charged with and convicted of a misdemeanor offense under California Welfare and Institution Code Section 11483 because I failed to report my estranged husband had returned to the household. During this time, his presence was not consistent and he had not contributed financially to the household, therefore at that time, I did not think that his inconsistent presence constituted his return to the household.
I do not remember many details of this incident because 36 years have passed. What I do remember I received a suspended sentence but had to go to the county jail and have my fingerprints taken after the conviction. I was also mandated to make restitution, which I did.
