What is propaganda? Propaganda is information,ideas,or rumors used to help or harm a person,group,movement,institution,nation,etc. Some examples of modern day propaganda are the fast food restaurants, “I’m Lovin it”-Mcdonald's, “Subway eat fresh”, “Redbull gives you wings”,“IT’S WAY BETTER THAN FAST FOOD. IT’S WENDY’S.”. These are all forms of modern day propaganda used to lure customers into their restaurants.
Propaganda also used in forms of war or government and advertisements on the tv. Some examples are the anti-smoking advertisements on tv, was a poster created by J. Howard Miller in 1983 the “We can do it” poster, and Trump’s campaign for 2017 “Make america great again”,posters to also join the armed forces. Propaganda is also used to brainwash or convince a person or country.When the Nazi party used propaganda to convince Germans to follow Hitler’s message of hate, fear, and Anti-semitism, this allowed the German citizens to support their message and made it easier to commit genocide.

Since Germany was in a depression the german citizens were desperate to get jobs etc. The Nazi party blamed the Jews of Europe for Germany being in a state of depression. Since Germany was really weak they were desperate that is how the Nazi party came into power.
Propaganda played a huge roll in the Holocaust, it was used against the Jews of Germany. The first form of propaganda used against the jews of germany was the weekly Nazi newspaper (The Attacker), at the bottom of the front page of each newspaper, “The Jews are or misfortune!” The Nazi propaganda machine was used to keep critics
