Reading the novel ’’The Picture of Dorian Gray’’ by Oscar Wild we have found the following types of paragraphs: description, narrative, persuasive, informative, definition, classification. He used these types of paragraphs to make more interesting and colorful his work. Further we give some examples which contain the types of paragraphs described in the theoretical part of diploma paper.
We have found 3 examples with descriptive paragraphs, 23 examples with narrative paragraphs, 15 examples with persuasive paragraphs, 1 example with classification and definition paragraph, 4 examples with informative paragraphs.
