Examples Of Persuasive Speech On The Valedictorian
Valedictorian Address
Brother Spencer, Teachers, parents, honored guests and fellow graduates, today is a day of great significance, a day of immense magnitude, one that we are implanted in our heads for years to come. Summarizing a set of years such as these does seem like an insurmountable task, one that is rife with its own shares of terrors and peculiar admiration, the journey to this point, this stage has been different for each and every one of us graduates. It does beg the question though, how was your experience in high school at Brebeuf? Well, one thing I can tell you for sure is that it was certainly interesting for all sorts of reasons. One that does stick by you, one that will turn to shape you and even at some point define you as a person.

If I were to personally title this class, I will call this class, the class of dreamers, expectation crushers, rule breaker, earth shakers. As we all see we define ourselves, and at this school, our personalities seep out like a liquid form our favorite soda drinks and soften up like the comforting feeling of Rosa’s cookies. Unintentionally and enounced to us, we realize our passions, hopes, dreams, weaknesses, and our strengths. Over four years, we come to learn, yes about ourselves, but also about our peers, those who knowingly or not shape us as well, they make learn and grow as well. As a young man echoes his pride in his homeland Columbia or two guys who just love the video game, and wishes to conduct an orchestral performance in the honor of it. These are the benchmarks of a brotherhood, not marks and honors, nor aggression or jealousy, but a love (sometimes deep rooted) for one another, one that cannot be undermined no matter the trials and tribulations we face in our next steps, even far apart we know we face them

Imagine that you trained all your life for that special moment of playing in your first NHL game. At the beginning of your first shift in the game suddenly another player’s stick comes up and strikes you in the eye. This incident ends your career. This could have been prevented if you wore a visor. I think visors should be mandatory in the NHL in order to improve a player’s safety. Statistics have proven players who wear visors in the NHL play less aggressive. There are many incidents involving sticks and pucks going into player’s faces. A recent incident occurred between Philadelphia’s Chris Pronger and Toronto’s Mikhail Grabovski. Furthermore, two years ago a former NHL player Brad May, Gave a speech supporting the use of visors.…

When signing up to be an organ donor you usually think only your major organs will be used; however, something as small as a ligament of yours is used in popular surgeries such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions. When someone tears their ACL they usually have a choice to have an autograft, or use one of their own ligaments, but they can also choose to have an allograft, or take a cadaver’s ligament to repair it. Each has it’s advantages and disadvantages, but I personally think that the better option is the allograft because I think the advantages are better than using your own ligament from another part of your body. The advantages consist of faster operative time, less post-operative pain, and a faster recovery time.…

Good evening, Parents, teachers, honored guests, and fellow classmate. As Benjamin desereli said, change is inventible and change will always will come. In our case we all knew that graduation was coming and that we are leaving .all of us as students should know that change is always going to come we just have to deal with it. Instead of becoming sad that we are leaving, we should remember all the fond memories we are going to have and keep with us. Just because we are leaving market lane physically does not mean we are going to leave market lane mentally or emotionally. Market lane will be in our hearts forever. Market lane taught us many things how to deal with hardships, deal with stress and to have a great time.…

    3. A report from Alberta’s Workplace Health and Safety confirms the death of a young landscaper working for the city of Edmonton, was caused by a distracted driver who never seemed to realize she had hit him. Some said the woman was holding a cell phone and seemed to be texting before getting out of her car. “The driver did not even know that she had crushed a landscape worker. There…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…

You have all worked tirelessly to create a fun, welcoming, and informative environment where all students can finally achieve success. However, even though you have accomplished much, there is always more work to do. When I first started kindergarten, the curriculum, workload, and, most importantly, the starting and ending time was simple and relaxed.…
