Whether an individual knows it or not, there are examples of satire in everyday life. Satire is a technique employed by writes to expose and criticize foolishness and corruption of an individual or a society by using humor, irony, exaggeration or ridicule. Examples of satire are found on television, like Saturday Night Live, and in political cartoons. On November 5th, the cast members of Saturday Night Live performed a skit that portrayed Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. In the skit, the news reporters were interviewing Clinton character as if she had just lost the election due to another email scandal.
