Starting with Angelas Ashes, the McCourt family lived in a very lower class part of society. It was a stereotypical family of poor income too, with the alcoholic father who spends the families money on more alcohol, and the mother who is left to guide all the kids. Even though his dad was an alcoholic, he was still around. They went through hardships, like when they had lived in the house that flooded the downstairs so they all had to pack upstairs in “Italy”. Huck lives loving being uncivilized and finds joy of being part of a lower class. He doesn’t see the bad in the situation, but sees the good possibilities that could come with it. I would say Huck is the happiest poor person ever. Huck knows he’s lower on the social scale and is fine with it. I believe this social class isn’t necessarily properly represented since it depicts all troubled youth the have fun and exciting adventures. I know that’s a little far, but everyone knows life isn’t
