There are two categories with locus of control, the internal locus of control and the external locus of control. Each of these, are identified by the types of beliefs that a person may have, and each can have their own set of consequences. Internal locus of control, is the belief that outcomes occur because of our own efforts, due to this, these individuals are more likely to be achievement-oriented, which in turn can make them more independent and successful in life. Internals are said to believe that their actions and behaviors will bring positive outcomes, this could cause issues if a person is determined to have a positive outcome, and the outcome isn’t what they wanted, or was expecting. I would assume that internals would also have problems with things being “out of their hands” or having to depend on someone else,
