Firstly, When it comes to work you might apply for a job but not get a response, this could be because of your age older or younger. A stereotype is when you are judged because of race, sex and age. An example of this happening to a younger person is a teenage girl applying for a job at a store and the employer dosen’t want to hire you because they find out you are young unlike there other employees who are older and the employer thinks that the younger teen girl won’t be able to handle job maybe based on past experiences or just their own personal opinions. An example of it happening to a older person is them getting a job at the same place. It isn’t because they can’t handle the job it is because instead of an older employer they are younger
