Examples Of Teamwork In Of Mice And Men

The novel “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck is relevant to high school freshman because it shows the idea teamwork at the farm. Teamwork is seen all throughout the book when they go out to work. When they do, everybody has a part, and everybody needs each other. For example, when they buck barely in chapter 2, each person needs a partner so they can get it up into the wagon. This is relevant for a freshman because they have to work with a team in order to succeed. Whether this is during a class, or outside of school while they study, they need each other. It is also seen when Lenny is paired with a worker. It is said that “He damn near killed his partner buckin’ barley. There ain’t nobody can keep up with him” (Steinbeck, p. 39, 1937). This
