Life in the dystopian society of the book “Night” was very difficult to bare, causing pain and suffering. People worked for little food. They experienced death everyday as they’re loved ones were being taken away from them. Being stripped, shaved, disinfected, and were treated with unimaginable cruelty. They never had anything just ever handed to them. Having to work endless amounts of days for survival. Modern day society can compare and contrast with the dystopian society of the novel “night” by comparing the different Jewish life style/faith and the awareness brought to it. “Bread, soup - these were my whole life.
