The definition of true love is the lasting affection between two people in a happy, strong relationship. In the play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the two main characters fall in love with each other. Romeo and Juliet were not in love. I believe they were not in love because they just met, they are very young, and the feelings they had were just lust. In the first act of the play, Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time. Romeo is not supposed to be at the party that Lord Capulet is holding but he shows up anyway. That is when they meet. Romeo does not hold back on time to go over and talk to Juliet.
