Hamlet
Imagine having to try to live a normal life, with your mom and uncle married. And to make it even worse, you find out that your uncle killed your dad just so he could marry her. In Shakespeare's play Hamlet, the main character suffers from a fatal weakness in character which eventually causes the downfall of Polonius, his mother, and most importantly himself. This weakness is his inability to take action and he later realizes how horribly this weakness effects him and the people around him. I feel as though Shakespeare used this character weakness to show that when you overthink things, the worst is bound to happen. Hamlet had plenty of oppourtunities
