The main reason I believe I deserve a scholarship, is because I have worked on improving myself year after year. This place is more than just a summer camp to me, it totally changed me for the better. This camp helped me be more social, responsible, and it taught me to work and strive for greatness. I do not think any other place could have had an impact on me like this place…
My ambition and motivation to go to college despite the adversities, I have been through play a big part in me applying for this scholarship. With my mom being the only financial provider in my household, I do not want to have to worry her with any loans on top of the bills she has to already pay. She is my motivation to go to college and I always promised her that she would never have to worry about any debt from me going to college. Since a very young age, my goal for college was to go and not have to come out of packet as, little as possible. My career aspirations are to become a Nurse Practitioner, and without the help of this scholarship to complete my bachelor’s degree, this dream will not come…
The past year has been very difficult in my family because my father got cut off of his good paying job which covered most bills, but recently I was able to work more often. I put less stress off my parents shoulders by helping them with things they needed around the house. We were able to get back on their feet at least but this Bloch scholarship would be a Financial saver towards my parents because I don't want my educational goals make them struggle. I want to be able to help my parents and already give back to them. To do that first I will have to go to college to be able to get a good paying job. Also secondly it will allow me to get situated with being out of high school and moving on into college. I know it will help me get comfortable since I can move on into a bigger college with more students in a classroom by time.…
I don’t know if I feel that saying that I deserve this scholarship is the right thing to say, but going to Japan has been a goal of mine ever since I can remember. My grandfather was the one who really got me interested in Japan. He would always tell me stories about the culture, people, the little bits of language that he picked up, and the time that he spent there. My grandfather would have loved me going to Japan and would have supported me whole heartedly. I want to go to Japan not only to see what he saw, but also to improve the little that I know and improve myself.…
I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I work hard in everything that is thrown my way. I try to be the best I can be so I can make my way to college possible. To keep myself going in the right direction, I set goals for myself. I have the drive to try my best for any goal I set. I should be awarded this scholarship not only for money, but for a motivation to never give up.…
This scholarship is essential to my educational goals as it will go directly towards my college tuition, giving me a head start into fulfilling an education that will lead to a successful future as an industrious adult.…
In order to so, I must persevere to be one of the best in my future class and job. A long term goal for me is to create a non-profit organization that helps those who need it the most. It could support higher education, help prevent domestic violence, animal abuse, or even help fund research for cancer. The possibilities are endless if I thrive in my education and apply what I've learned to the real world. After all, the importance of earning a college education is also to help others achieve their dreams and overcome their obstacles. If I am elected to receive this scholarship you would be giving me an opportunity to learn at one of the business schools in Texas. I can assure you that I would find a way to give back to my community like the way you help students like…
Since, I played four sports, it was hard to just focus on one. Sometimes I would have to come in early for one sport and stay after school for another. I really had to manage my time wisely. I am proud to say that I have been on the A honor role every year since freshman year. This was a goal I had since I was a child. I always wanted to be a straight A student and when I would do bad on something, I would study it until it was perfect. I think I should be considered for this scholarship because I have great leadership skills in everything that I do. I show leadership in sports by giving 110% in practice off and on the court or field. I lead by example and have a very strong worth ethic. No matter where I am put in any sport, I give it my all.…
I believe that I deserve this scholarship because I put so much effort into every task that I am given. I give only my best, and see each task through to the end. I really deserve and need this opportunity for the scholarship since I am single mother working part-time job maintaining my name in Dean’s list, and having to pay Out-of-State tuition since I have not been living in West Virginia over a year yet. I’ve always worked hard, and have done well in my classes even for nursing programs as I maintained Dean’s list. I am devoted single mother of two children who needs my attention and care. I am also a hard-working student, devoted to my studies, education, and nursing. Moreover, I am committed to perform best at my work and achieve my responsibilities and duties well. Not to mention my passion for others and to take care of them when in need as my nursing profession would allow me to serve more and more people. I can’t wait to become Family Nurse Practitioner, as I have always…
I believe I should be considered for this scholarship because as a hardworking and confident student, I would be able to use the advantage of the scholarship to help me pursue my post-secondary studies. I wish to attend post-secondary to pursue my studies in the field of Computer Engineering. I have always been fascinated by technology and interested in how technology works. Attending post-secondary will help me gain the knowledge and skills to become a successful computer software engineer. After entering the workforce, I wish to invent or innovate something that will benefit those less fortunate than myself. We live in a world shaped by engineering and with advancing technology, engineers will help people live better lives and I want to be…
I am a hard working student and I give all my effort into my schoolwork. My family is in poverty, so money is a ginormous stressor for my family. With the $3000 scholarship I would be able to continue my schooling in better circumstances. I know I will have to work multiple jobs in order to pay for my own schooling, so every bit of money helps. Having this scholarship I would be able to focus on my schoolwork and not focus on the stress of paying for school. Poor Financial situations can cause a lot of stress in the lives of students; having $3000 given to me as a support for school would help reduce that stress. I would be able to focus more on my schoolwork, and give all my effort into school, instead of paying for it. This scholarship would…
I have a disease called thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura that's really not the reason why I should deserve this scholarship but I should deserve for another reason my reason being is because when I graduate from high school I would want to be a successful nurse my reason is because I want to save other people's lives like they did with my mine people didn't believe in me you may ask why I say that because they said I wasnt going to be able to graduate because I would miss school a lot because of my dr appointments and would have to make up for the credit I myself told them that I would graduate. I never listen to their comments what other people had to say I'm in proving them wrong in graduating distinguished…
I want to be able to travel and see the world as well as helping and doing everything I can do help someone. My mother worked two jobs to take care of me and my 4-year-old brother. She has sacrificed so much for me as a single parent. It was even at one point I did not know that I would even be here at East Tennessee State University but with the fire I had and the fact my mother wants me to succeed she gave everything she had to get me through my first year and now I want to repay her by showing her I am working hard and with the help of this scholarship I will be closer to my goal in life,…
Hello friends. I deserve this scholarship because I own the paramount educational values that will guide me throughout my educational journey. I have a clear idea in mind of what I aspire to do with my life, and that makes everything much easier for me. Confidence is the best word to describe myself during this time of life. I go to a great school that I love, have amazing friends, and have been raised with parents who I want to make very proud. My academic goals include maintaining a 3.0 GPA for the rest of the three years I'm in school and earning an Exercise Science degree. From there, I plan to eagerly apply for jobs as I am tremendously excited about this degree and what it pertains. I am pursuing my passion, and that is what it is all about.…
I believe that I am deserving of this scholarship for multiple reasons. One of those reasons being that I have always tried my hardest in everything that I do. I have tried my hardest to earn the grades that I have received throughout high school, and because of this I have been able to earn a 3.214 GPA. Another reason that I believe that I am deserving of this scholarship is because I have been able to give back to the community as often as I have been able to. I have been able to give back through my participation in Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America along with other organizations. Through the FCCLA group I have been able to give back through the Ottoville Cancer Walk along with the Delphos soup kitchen.…
