I think the mentoring program would be beneficial to the income freshmen because they are fresh out of high school and are not use to being on their own without living in the house with their parents. It would be nice if they had someone to check in on them and help them with any problems they are having or need help. It would be like having a older brother or sister that is looking over them making sure they stay on track with everything they are supposed to be doing. It would also help if every floor has a meeting once a month and more floor bonding activates.
An upper classmen and lower classmen meet and greet would be beneficial for the freshmen. When I came to Paul Quinn I did not feel like the freshmen had any support from the upper classmen. They did not try to get to know us or help in any way to guide or mentor us with being in our positions once before. The slogan We Over Me was not practiced. So to change that this year some of the upper classmen girls can have a heart to heart talk and let them know that they have their support and if they need to they can come to help for help and
