Exciting Trip to Turkey
I 2007 my husband and I visited Turkey. It was AMAZING! The best trip I’ve been to. I mean the country rules the people are so nice and the weather is wonderful. You cannot help falling in love with Turkey. So I will try to tell you about my trip. Our trip started with visited two museums in Ankara. The museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Ataturks memorial that was kind of cool as I got to learn a little about Turkey and haw it become was it is today. I was specially impressed by haw much the Turks love their founder. We used to have a leader too, back in the times of the USSR, however we managed to forget him as soon as the Soviet Union fell apart. But Turks still have this cult of personality. The face of Mustafa Kemalis everywhere: on the coins and banknotes: on the walls in shops and banks, his statues are scattered all over Ankara and even on a rainy day you can see quite some people of all ages wandering around his Memorial. It is pleasure to see a nation so proud of their history. The next few days we spent in Antalya and Alanya that was just breath taking. It was also the first time I had ever been to the sea. We stayed at the hotel Paloma Rima this is definitely a brilliant hotel. The staff are very customer orientated and are always around whether its for a chat or any injuries you may have! The rooms are apartment sized and cleaned daily. They are very light colored and very pretty with lovely balcony. The hotel also had a Rooftop Restaurant, large pool and couple Bars. They also had a Turkish Night while we were there and I loved it!!! There was dancing, music and everyone was having a good time, it was so much fun. All of these reasons made this time in Turkey unforgettable and exciting for me. I would recommended that anyone who has a chance to go to Turkey goes, because there is so much to see and do
