Excretion is the elimination of the waste products of metabolism from the body. Metabolic waste products are made in the body as a result of chemical reactions a waste product like carbon dioxide, which is made in a cell as a result of metabolic reaction, is called an Excretory Product. If these waste products accumulate, they interfere with the delicate balance of oxygen, water, and nutrients needed for normal cell development.
