1. Introduction

Introduction of the Study:

To obtain a professional Degree like, it is necessary to quire real world nations while acquiring theoretical knowledge because of reality is always very tough. So Internship period is leading period to cope with the real world situation. It is possible on part of a student to know about organizational behavior as well as human behavior from the internship program make a student to be informed has the practical manager do their activities in the practical life. The Report focuses on theoretical as well as conceptual knowledge about the EXIM Bank’s activities and management that play an important role on behalf of the private banking sector of Bangladesh.

1.2 Origin of the Report:

The internship program of MBA is a partial requirement to take test of real life challenge conducted by the intern. It is the important part of MBA program. This program is three month duration. The period for this program was December, 2010 to February, 2011. During this period I have worked closely with the employee of Paltan Branch. This report presents the outcomes of the study during the internship- EXIM Bank Limited. I was assigned to topic “General Banking Activities of EXIM Bank Limited at Paltan Branch.

1.3 Objective of the Study:

I) Specific Objective: The main objective of the study is to determine the general banking operation at EXIM Bank Ltd. Therefore, following issue are considered as broad objectives –

-To find out current situation of EXIM Bank.
-To find out the account opening procedure.
-To find out the organization’s internal environment.
-To find out the SWOT analysis of EXIM Bank.
