Similarly, the more actions there are, the more evidence there is to prove words as genuine or fabricated. In this day and age, actions are required to confirm whether one can be trusted or not. Many people say they have multiple friends, but do they really? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary states that the definition of a friend is, “a person who has a strong liking for and trust in another person; a person who helps or supports something.” It is easy for a person to say that they trust another and that they care for them; however, if that person isn’t there for the other in his or her time of need, are they really a friend? Most people could count the amount of individuals that have proven to them by their actions that they are truly their friend on a single hand. An individual may say that they care for the environment, but then they are seen driving down the road throwing trash out of their window. This doesn’t mean that they are a bad person; it just illustrates that they want people to believe they are something they are not. It does no good to deceive others, because eventually the lies will catch up to the culprit. There are many indicators of drug-using, but that doesn’t keep users from saying they have never used drugs. Even though they may be a good person, they are not only known as a drug user, but also a liar.
