College has affected me in many ways. First off it has thought me to be more responsible. When you’re in college you are responsible for adding and dropping your classes no one does it for you, so if you don’t want a W on your transcript you will pay attention to all the dates the college provides to drop on time. Second reason it has allowed me to learn things that I thought I would never be interested in. When taking general ed classes you have to choose classes not by choice but because they are required for your degree and or to transfer to a four year college. I really wasn’t a fan of my Political Science class but it taught me how are country is ran and what makes up a government it
also open my mind to vote and if I don’t like something to speak up about it . Finally it has made my family proud that I return back to college. I first enrolled in college 10 years ago right after graduating from high school. Well after the first semester I dropped and just wasn’t interested in college, I made many mistakes in life that I don’t think I would have made if I would have stayed in college the first time around. My Mom always till this day brings it up and says “I told you so” Well thank god I don’t have to hear her say that anymore.
