The Bible is a series of
books about the experiences of God's actions in the world and his purpose with all of his creations. All of the collections of the book, contain messages that God wants us to follow. The stories in the Bible were not written the minute they occurred, they are stories that were passed down and told over and over again. "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring." (Proverbs 27:1) The bible to most people is guide about living life to its absolute fullest. Taking advantage of everything life has to offer you. There are many stories for all ages from Noah and the Ark, Jonah and the fish, and the parables of Jesus. These stress the triumphs and failures of normal people. The Bible brings strength to their need of time, whether it is people in pain, suffering, and or in prison. This is a book that is for everyday living. This book defines what is right and what is wrong. A guideline for a society that is confused because we live in a anything goes society.
The bible had a strong impact on politics. Especially in the United States, most of the common people of society fail to realize that the Bible has bettered our lives. They take for granted walking around and enjoying life with the amplitude of freedom in America, they all lack the quality of realizing they all owe it to a book. It is commonly known that our founding fathers, were mostly composed of faithful men who believe the Bible principles, were a great foundation of our Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Most history teachers know that the Bible has a significant influence on the mold of the building blocks of this nation than what is being taught in the history books. All of the preambles to the states constitutions are all based on the Bible's influence. For example, in California's preamble it states: "We, the People of the State of California, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, in order to secure and perpetuate its blessings, do establish this Constitution."
