Explain How You Express Your Creativity
Every person has a creative side, and it can express in many ways: problem-solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe how you express your creative side.I express my creativity in a variety of ways I like to draw so the main source of my creativity is influenced by art I would like to say it helps me think outside of the box more when it comes to being able to make my own things without stressing over it. It helps with problem-solving such as in life problems I think of the many solutions and see which would have the best outcome for my current state of interest. The way I express my creativity as well is coming up with stories for the characters I draw and these stories can also be poetry then I draw art pieces about them. I make props in my free time as a hobby since I like …show more content…
2. Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic achievement? The most difficult challenge I have faced that was the most impactful is learning how to draw. It took many steps like learning the basics.Lots of people discouraged me to give up since I wasn't naturally gifted at it and my drawing at the time was very laughable and childish looking. I would look at art books for reference at the beginning and try to draw from that. Once I learned how to use a pencil I then had to learn how to color which was definitely the hardest part of learning how to be an artist because I had to learn about how colors go with each other and from there I just kept going. I impacted my academic skills by making me more open-minded and more willing to try new ways to solve or answer a problem. I also got much more determined since then and it has given me a new outlook on life and

The first tribe I describe myself as belonging to is the tribe of creative expressionists, which thrive in areas of self expression and creativity. "I draw because words are too unpredictable. I draw because words are too limited" (Alexie 5). I sometimes find it difficult to express and understant the emotions I feel raging inside. In these moments, I enjoy experimenting with vibrant splashes of paint across a canvas or dark scrawling into a notebook to better understand or cope with these feeligns. I relish being able to question why things work the way that they do, and the freedom to add my personal insights into a situation in order to come up with creative solutions. Being boxed-in or pushed into 'conventional' methods of systematic processes is arduous and boring to me. Instead, I enjoy being able to question why things work the way they do, and being able to add my own personal insights in a situation to help come up with creative solutions. In some ways, I am not always practical in the ways I approach a situation, preferring to rest upon something's potential, rather than seeing the raw reality of what it actually is-- I am an idealist to the core, and sometimes find it difficult to let go of the ideals in my mind, in favor of compromising to reach a realistic solution.…

My creativity is like a roller coaster. At the beginning of my life I was riding the roller coaster of my creativity up a very high hill. This was the time when I was just starting to figure out how everything worked and what creativity ment. I found I could express myself through a crayon and piece of paper. I was drawing everything that made me happy. My family was what I mostly drew at this point, because my happiness revolved around them. As I got further up the hill the track kept getting steeper, because I was learning about my creativity very fast. I even started drawing what made me sad, like my best friends getting mad at me or my dog passing away. I could tell my mom how I felt without saying…

For me as an artist, I prefer to create visual pieces or 2-D, mainly by drawing or painting. However, one of my biggest strengths in being an artist and a person in general is my creativity. Being a creative person makes me a good artist. I use the ideas I get and then I am able to turn them into works of art. Everytime I sit down ready to do something with art, I brainstorm ideas of what to do and my mind just starts to race. No matter what situation I am put in, I am positive I can be creative in an unique way to create something wonderful. However, like any other person, I have my weaknesses as an artist. From time to time I am given the task to create something three dimensional. Ever since I was little I have struggled with creating something 3-D. I prefer to use a pencil to draw rather than to use my hands to sculpt something. With anything I do, I will always run into things that I struggle with along with the things that I can excel at. The past semester in Art II has made me a better artist. From learning different techniques to just creating art in general, I have been able to expand my skills as an artists. In the next years I hope to continue to use these skills and to become a better artist as well as a better…

There is also a lot of suffering, crashes of motivation and it is exactly during these periods of time that I draw upon my artistic side. Through art I travel to a different dimension. I pass from a place where time is everything; swimming paces, cycling speeds, running times etc. and on to a place where time is meaningless; it either passes slowly or rapid, and it is diffenct. Sometimes after dinner I decide to sketch, and soon it turns into a painting, and eventually my mother enters to my art studio, suddenly I realize it is 3;00 a.m. and I am still painting. That is the power of art it allows you to wander. It awakens my creative side and challenges me to put in the canvas all those weird, surrealist scenes that cross my mind at night. And due to these random imaginative sparks I’ve always carry a notepad with me sketching objects, writing phrases or anything that inspires me daily which helps me expand my imagination. The canvas has become a diary for me. This passion for art has always kept my mind open to new…

The rough, yet smooth texture of a canvas knocks down all boundaries and only leaves room for creativity. The line from the tip of my pencil is not just nonsense; every drawing is representation of me and everything that I feel at a given moment. Through art, I have learned how this life isn't always pretty blue skies, and ceramic vases. It is purple skies with an orange hue, tornadoes in perfect weather, grimaces and tears, and so much more that words cannot convey, which is why I draw. Through art, I have learned that with the frustration and failures, there is reward in forms of pride and satisfaction of taking a step back and admiring my own…

I am a very creative person. I have written stories throughout my career as a student, my first one being in in the second or third grade. I had just gotten into superheroes with the first Iron Man movie and wrote a very short, probably 2-3 page story about Iron Man. I enjoy drawing; I self-taught myself and have stopped drawing as of this time, but I enjoy drawing dragons and mythical creatures as a way to escape the troubles…

Environment: The constantly changing landscape of the internet is the environment in which Yahoo! exists. Increasing and intensifying competition from companies like Google have seen Yahoo! overtaken in terms of its leadership in key internet markets like internet searching using search engines. The fact that company has spread itself (and hence its resources) over a plethora of internet opportunities has resulted in the company becoming fragmented and uncompetitive against other niche-focussed companies which compete in the various distinct markets of the internet. The company seems to be following a strategy of adopting technological advancements and social trends rather than being an innovator and a driving force behind these factors. They are constantly playing catch-up in these spheres.…

Hybrid cars have a very special technology because they boast two power sources: a regular gasoline engine and an electric motor powered by a huge battery unlike conventional cars which have only regular gasoline engine. These components generally work in tandem, though the exact mechanism varies depending on the car. When the car is at stop, the engine shuts off. While you push the accelerator, the electric motor turns on to drive the car forward. When you need the power such as for climbing a hill, the gas engine gets a boost from the electric motor. The electric motor normally recharges itself by censoring the heat energy generated as you brake (Brown, 2008). Hybrid cars also help to reduce the amount of smog emission because of less working of gasoline engine. This does not mean that hybrid cars help the environment because they still have the issue of their batteries about being extremely harmful to the environment.…
