AbstractAbstract covers the required information provide clear understanding of the topic explaining methods, finding, and basic purpose of the study and final comments given in concluding part. The information found within the research study is accurate but incomplete and outdated. An adequate critique on this topic of pregnancy and protection must begin ultimately from the socially radical recognition that the only scientifically verifiable differences between men and women are in the mechanics of biological reproduction, and that all other apparent differences are therefore caused by cultural and social conditioning.…
Traditional or common portrayals of the fertilization process are inaccurately based on what truly happens because of typical stereotypes and biased information of male and female. Male biologists blow off the idea of the egg “controlling” the sperm by trapping it because they feel that it makes males appear less weak in comparison to women in reality. The limitations of Martin’s study yielded to reader’s wondering why there were small, but vital lies told due to chauvinistic…
The control of fertility has always been a topic issue for women. Different pre conception and post conception procedures have been practiced since the ancient times. Abortion has become a major topic for everyone in the United States. It became very focused when the Roe Vs. Wade case was passed. This is because many individuals have strong, colliding opinions on abortion and it’s laws. The two main group views of abortion are pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life are individuals who believe abortion is wrong, and pro-choice are people who believe it is up to the mother to choose what she wants. While one particular view has not been proven to be correct or incorrect, it has brought many persuasions to the table on what should be considered the…
Infertility, or sterility, is the inability to produce offspring or the inability to conceive. Although the majority of American men and women assume that they will mature, fall in love, and create children of their own, the rate of fertility continues to decrease over the years, and the American dream of becoming a parent does not always become a reality. Although some men and women are complacent with adoption or an egg/sperm donation, others who plan for a child of their own consider infertility as a major devastation. Research has shown that over thirty percent of women in America experience complications with fertility and fourteen percent of all clinically recognized pregnancies in America result in a miscarriage or stillbirth (Schwerdtfeger). However, fertility is not just a concern for females. For centuries, if a couple were unable to have children, the fault was put on the women, although we now know that both men and women suffer equally from fertility complications. Among couples who are infertile, about forty percent of cases are exclusively due to female infertility, forty percent to male infertility and ten percent involving problems with both partners (McArthur). The factor of not being able to produce offspring is a hard concept to endure for both genders, and can result in severe emotional issues that can be sustained for an extended period of time. The effects of being infertile can take a severe toll on one’s relationship with family, friends, and most commonly, their significant other.…

Endometriosis is a gynecological medical condition in which cells from the lining of the uterus (endometrium) appear and flourish outside the uterine cavity, most commonly on the membrane which lines the abdominal cavity. The uterine cavity is lined with endometrial cells, which are under the influence of female hormones. Endometrial-like cells in areas outside the uterus (endometriosis) are influenced by hormonal changes and respond in a way that is similar to the cells found inside the uterus. Symptoms often worsen with the menstrual cycle.…
Infertility is a growing women’s health issue in Canada. In 1984 5.4% of Canadian couples reported fertility problems, by 2010 that number had increased to 16% (Bushnik, Cook, Yuzpe, Tough, & Collins, 2012). Today infertility is defined using the biomedical definition which classifies infertility as “a disease of the reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse.” (World Health Organization, 2017).…
Magnesium is the twelfth element on the periodic table. The atomic number is 12, and its atomic mass is 24.305. Magnesium’s boiling point is at 1090C or 1994F, and its melting point is at 650C or 1202F.Its state of matter is solid. It is located in the second group called the alkaline earth metals. Magnesium is found in seawater, salty layers and in many rock minerals. IT could be used as metal. It’s the third most abundant structural metal in the earth’s crust, only exceeded in aluminum and iron.Magnesium readily ignites upon heating in air and burns with a dazzling white flame. To extinguish the flame water should not be used. Alkaline earth metal salts in general, are less soluble in water than the corresponding alkali metal salts. Some are even so insoluble that they resist weathering and leahcing action in rainwater. Its common oxidation states is 2. Magnesium forms many compounds. The oxide, hydroxide, chloride, carbonate, and sulfate are commercially important. They are used in ceramics, cosmetics, fertilizers, insulation, leather tanning, and textile processing.…
As technology has advanced, the treatment for an infertile couple has progressed greatly. However, society's opinion of infertility treatment has not progressed. Abortion can significantly affect each relationship a women has; not only is her relationship with her partner influenced, so are her relationships with other individuals in her family and friends. After a premature birth, the rate of marital breakups is anywhere between 40 to 75%. This is often identified with the malfunction of intimacy and trust. Furthermore, numerous ladies experiment sorrow, blame, and anger related to feelings of having been let down by their partner, which, thus, leads to communication problems and sexual dysfunction. If their partners changed their mind about having and abortion, women tend to feel outraged and betrayed, and men, ordinarily, feel lost control and pride particularly if they were not consulted.
