Explain The Four Pieces Of Evidence
Question: what the four pieces of evidence that support the theory of evolution? How do these four pieces of evidence show that different species are related

Claim: The four pieces of evidence that support the theory of evolution which was made by Charles Darwin the four pieces are fossil records, embryology, anatomy, and biochemistry.

The first piece of evidence that shows evidence of evolution is fossil records shows evidence that when you put all the bones it shows a snapshot shows an evolutionary change over 4 billion years. And also the fossil record shows a significant change in species and show how different animals became to be what they were from before. This means that the Geological strata containing an evolutionary sequence of fossils have shown us fossil showing us of millions of years of evolution of animals and deeper you go of the strata you see the older sequence of fossils. An example is In the “17th century, Nicolas Steno shook the world of science, noting

The second piece of evidence that shows evidence of evolution is anatomy is the study of anatomical features of animals of different species. And it supports the theory of evolution because there are fossil records that show the change in the anatomy of certain living organisms. This means that the features that they are not useful but were useful in the past example:

The third piece of evidence that shows evidence of evolution is embryology in the early stages we see the embryos go through similar stages showing that they had a common ancestor. This means that when a fish, reptiles, birds, and mammals have very similar embryos because all of these with gill slits and tails when they go through to the processing part, in the end, some of their parts emerge or removes like example a dolphin it starts with a nose like humans then it's merges to a blowhole which where they breath in

o Anatomical evidence: (structures of organisms) fossil evidence, homologous structures. Fossils reveal anatomical structures of past organisms and their relationships with living organisms. Homologous structures are structures found in different species that have similar form or configuration due to divergent evolution (common ancestor). The greater the amount of homology between two species, the more closely related they are. Ex) whale cat, gorilla, bat forelimbs(different functions but same bone structures)…

Charles Darwin in 1859 published On the Origin of Species, he explained his theory of evolution. He presented evidence that would further explained his reasoning. The first Darwin looked at the fossils and looked at the geological layers. Next compared the structural of the human hand, bird wing, and a cat paw and hinted that we come from common ancestors. His finally observation was the dramatic change in domestic plants and animals by selective breeding. Darwin believed that species started to change their structure, psychology, and behavior that would help with…

Evolution is basically the change in the heritable characteristic or traits in living organisms which are passed from one generation to another and gives rise to diversity at every stage of the organism’s biological organisation. The process of evolution was not well understood until 19th century when Charles Darwin proposed the scientific theory of natural selection as a driving tool in evolution. The process involved both the macroevolution in which organisms went through major evolutionary changes over a long period of time and acquired different traits from different parents or ancestries and the microevolution in which a group of organisms went through minimal changes with time but the traits they acquired were typically from the same ancestor.…
