A) I am on Cyclone when most of the staff are offline.
I've seen players on Cyclone who do not get proper help when staff members are offline.
Even though I am not a helper, I try my best to help a player who needs assistance or I direct them to where a particular place is, such as a shop.
Also, I notice the lack of disciplinary action when players are behaving inappropriately in chat, which tends to annoy me. I want to play in an environment where players are friendly to one another and chat is appropriate for younger players. Me being helper might solve this problem.
B) It will improve me as a person and make me more prepared for the outside world.
Being a staff member will put me in an …show more content…
atmosphere where I am needed to fulfill my responsibilities which is what you would encounter in a real occupation. Not to mention that I need to be taught to be more responsible at home and to help my family out with challenging tasks. I take responsibility very seriously because I feel like I failed myself if I do not complete the assigned tasks he/she gives to me.
C) It satisfies me when I help another player.
It's not that I want helper to be popular or to be noticed (in fact, I do not want popularity at all), it's just that it makes me feel accomplished when I make someone's playing time on the server much more easier and enjoyable.
I want to be a role model for the newer players who join Cyclone in the future.
2. Describe how you think you could make a difference on CycloneNetwork as a Helper.
I would like to make a difference on CycloneNetwork as a helper by proposing new ideas/solutions to problems a player faces or would face on a regular basis. I feel like doing that will make Cyclone a better community. I will always try to be as active as possible on the Forums, and I never will/try to brake the rules. I will also look at chat frequently to make sure no one is behaving inappropriately, making racial remarks, or advertising, and to keep an eye on the players who are new or need help.
Of course, catching hackers is a big responsibility for a staff member. I will try my best to catch and punish as many hackers as possible. I think the most efficient way to catch hackers is to record my playtime when I enter Pvp. This will make sure I am not off guard and it will expose him/her right from the moment he/her started hacking to the end of …show more content…
it.
3.
Have you any past staff experiences? If any, then please describe.
I have had only one experience as a staff member.
I was an Admin on a server that was not really popular, and it had stopped for an unknown reason.
During that time, I was gaining information from the owner on how to perform the basic Admin commands, and when to use them.
4. How long have you been playing on CycloneNetwork?
I have been playing well over 2 years. During that time, I have experienced how and when the staff used the /warn, /kick, and /ban commands. For example, a player who is using Caps Lock or spamming will receive a warning. If the player continues to spam/perform caps lock, they will receive their second warning. A third warning results in a kick. If a player continues after he/she has been kicked, they will be temp muted. An offence such as hacking will result in a permanent ban.
5. Have you ever been banned, muted or kicked on CycloneNetwork? (If so, then why?)
In V2, I was falsely banned before the new staff system was implemented, and I have been warned two times for Caps Lock.
6. Do you have Teamspeak and a microphone?
I have both.
:)
7. How active are you on CycloneNetwork?
During the weekdays, I come home from school and immediately go on Cyclone until I have to do my homework. During the weekends, I wake up and I go on Cyclone close to Lunch until I get off at night.
Those are just the general times I go on Cyclone, but they will vary if I have a school vacation or if I have a real life emergency.
