Explain Why I Want To Begin A Cycle Of Kindness And Support
I want to begin a cycle of kindness and support. I want the help that I give to others to be something that can continue to be passed on. If I were to help these people, I want my actions to inspire them to help others as well. Then they can take on the same role to better the lives of others. And from there the cycle begins again.

In life there are times when people cannot only focus on themselves. In order to move on, and fulfill life’s destiny you must help those that surround you. One cannot truly understand who they are and why they were brought to earth unless they consider helping those around them. Helping others teaches you to become more understanding patient, and sympathetic toward others. You initially free yourself of any conflict between others and help them as well.…

Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), or more commonly known as aspirin, is a medication that can be used for pain, fevers, and inflammation. It can be used for long periods of time, in small amounts, to prevent heart attacks, strokes and the formation of blood clots. A heart attack victim can be given a low dose right after the ordeal to reduce the risk of another one. Side effects of this drug is ulcers, internal bleeding (stomach) and ringing in the ears. For some people they have the best life and get everything they need and want for themselves. For some people on the other hand they don't have it that way and get the short end of the stick. For the people you see and help It comes straight from the heart because they don't have it easy and from me to them I realize that by helping them just a little it could jumpstart them to a fresh life and show them we care. I realize that I have as much as I need and I always ask my parents for money and to go out places but some people don't even have homes or food to provide and eat. By helping out a needing hand it makes me realize that I don't need everything in the world and it should help other people realize to that by looking at the life you have if you're rich or wealthy to help someone in need is the right thing to do and what I like doing best.…

As my mother got worse, and my friends continued needing me like a newborn calf to its mother, I began to lose it. Whatever “it” was, I may never know. All I know is that I could no longer help people if I couldn’t help myself. The only thing I ever felt good at was helping people, but with my sanity on a tight-rope and my happiness sinking in quicksand, I found myself hopeless and unable to help those that needed me.…

Countless times I wished to be face to face with the child or group I was indirectly supporting through monetary donations or through volunteer work and somehow provide them with more than just a temporary solution to their lifelong dilemma. I believe that the only true solution is to educate and provide them the means of which to construct a maintainable lifestyle without the constant support of others. In a perfect world, organizations such as American Red cross, Unicef, the Salvation Army, and every other organization that relies on donations would not exist and we’d simply live a life in which we primarily depend on ourselves. Simply because something seems unattainable or beyond our grasp doesn't mean we shouldn’t at least strive for it and that is exactly what my continued volunteer work will aim to do: work towards a perfect world. This idea reminds me of a commonly used expression by Norman Vincent Peal: “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the…

I have realized my responsibility to help those around me whenever possible. I have learned that helping others not only creates opportunities for them but also contributes to the content of my own character. I have had a very tough, not easy, no help life, and yet I’ am always the first one to lend a helping hand to someone else. I volunteer at my local church to clean up local areas, I volunteer at the nursing home entertaining and accompanying the elderly, I also do some volunteer work at a local animal shelter. When you come from a place where no one has really ever helped you achieve or even move forward you become one of two people. The person who is bitter and will never lend a helping hand, or the person who never wants someone to go through what they have been through in life. I’ am person number two. I have experienced a lot of tragedy, disappointment, and rough times in my life. For being so young it is difficult to take it all in, yet I still know how to help when help is needed. If only there was someone to have the same mentality as me, and help when I needed it. There should be more people out there willing to lend a…

As a volunteer helping with Harvest Kitchen I was shocked to realize the amount of people in our community that come from all walks of life, adults, elders, and children that need assistance. These people are people that when looking at them walking on the street you would never know the situations they come from or what they need to do in order to survive. It also helped solidify a previous lesson I learned when it comes to judging others, “you can never judge a book by its cover”. This lesson has stuck with me throughout my life and throughout my service work; a person is a person, no matter the situation or social class they come from. As human beings we all need love and desire someone to relate to. When helping with Harvest Kitchen I knew that we were all equal and the fact that those who needed help were humble enough to seek assistance in order to…

In my current role at Palm Beach Count Food Bank, I have the opportunity to feed people in need. I would love to continue to volunteer on a regular basis, because it changes me, and me perspective. We tend to think of what is not going right in our lives, but when we are intentional about putting others first, a thankful heart starts to develop. For that reason, I think it is crucial to be selfless and focus on the needs of others. I am not saying to neglect one’s needs of family, but to take time to acknowledge all the blessings the Lord has given to us in order to bless others. “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” (Hebrews 6:10,…

Before I started doing community service I really didn’t care about others. I was just in my own world and just doing things that weren’t that beneficial for me and others. But that changed once I started to know other people’s situations. Realizing what the people who I was helping went through helped me have a change of heart. It made me care about others and understand how they felt.…

Before, I was all about myself, I knew what I needed and knew what to do to get what I needed. But since I have had this experience I have decided that giving is the life for me. I now see that I am not the only person in the world that has needs, and I am also not the only person in the world who struggles to meet said needs. And I believe that if I lead the rest of my life giving, I could inspire someone else to give, too. Luther was all it took to start the peasant revolt. That alone is enough proof that if one mind changes, several will follow after it. If we all become giving citizens maybe we can all find our inner…
