Another difficulty is the in a secular version individuals have the right to enforce natural law or the need for enforcing natural law can be cited as an explanation of the deception of government. This is a difficulty, since it would not be uniform in how each individual decides to enforce natural law. While one individual may decide to enforce natural law one way, another person could feel that it should be enforced their way. This discrepancy can lead to confusion over the definition of natural law and/ or to it being difficult to force people to follow the doctrine. Meaning that it should be held above the legal system that we use. If it is considered above the legal system, how would one be able to enforce it? More importantly how could you make sure that it was being properly enforced?
Lastly, it is difficult to enforce natural law since it is rejected by those who follow contemporary political philosophy. This can make it difficult to enforce natural law because these people, who study topics like politics and law, reject this philosophy. They can potentially influence others to reject the natural law
