Explain Why It Is Important To Have Money Set Alone In A Saving Account
I believe that it is always important to have money set aside in a saving account. Living in the world today you never know what may happen next so it’s very important to always have money set aside for emergencies. It’s also beneficial to have a savings account because it teaches you how to be discipline when handling money.
A ministry that I support is my home church back at home name Restoring the Breached Min. Growing up in the church, I was always involved. Some of the different ways that I show my support is not only through tithing. I also dedicated my time by helping out with pretty much wherever I’m needed. I mainly assist in helping with the Youth department. Before moving to College I help the position as the President over the Youth

Savings cannot always be withdrawn and are more stable than checking accounts, as a result banks need to maintain reserves against their checking accounts (Gwartney, et al. 2013). Yes, money is safe in banks because the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was established in 1934 as a result of the 1922 to 1933 bank runs. This insurance insures me up to $250,000 per account if the bank fails.…

I’ve been involved with a organization called Klothe-a-Kid since 7th grade. It’s main purpose is to provide supplies to those in need in rural parts of Kentucky. Through it, I’ve been fortunate enough to work organizing and passing out clothes, school supplies, food, and more to my surrounding neighborhoods and counties. Since Klothe-a-Kid is a Christian-based service, I’ve also been fortunate enough to introduce several new people to my faith while meeting them through the monthly events KAK holds. I believe the reason I consider Klothe-a-Kid to be one of my most significant involvements in my community is because of the scope of which I am allowed to work. I am able to schedule new events in concord with the founder of KAK, for places which…

I think this is a good idea because this will leave enough money for me to afford major financial loss. At Justified By Faith Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN, I, Daniel H. Weems, Sr. serve as an Associate Pastor. We are a new church plant about seventeen months old and have around fifty active members. I have been asked to organize and implement a soul care ministry within the church. My overarching goal for ministry is to restore my fellow man when he is overtaken in a fault (Gal. 6:1), fully knowing that all mankind have missed the mark at times (Rom. 3:23); I do my best to remind…

My involvement in missions has taken up the better part of the last fifteen years of my life. I have never personally gone out to the field, but I have been a very huge supporter of the movement. I have been the director of my previous church’s missions ministry. With this position I was able to reach out to missionaries in over thirty-five different countries and send donations on behalf of my church. We would also host these missionaries whenever they were…

Lori, I truly enjoyed your interview response on Reverend Jennifer Beagle. I can agree with her statement on developing a ministry, “It’s a battle worth fighting, suit-up, buckle-up, and don’t doubt that God is in everything. Find God in every circumstance and view people as creations”. (Beagle, 2015) Just as the varying parts of the human body need each other to best accomplish its work, so the Body of Christ needs to function interdependently, like a team. (Rom. 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:12-27) God so designed the Church that it "grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work". (Eph. 4:16) Christian leaders are servants. Jesus specifically addresses servant leadership…

If your desire and want, is strong enough it is worth it to save up enough money, and pay for it with cash. Although this sounds great, sometimes it isn’t all that achievable. The idea of it is that if you save up more money for an item such as a house, car, or television that you will borrow less from a bank or credit card. The scary part about borrowing from lenders is that they charge a large sum of money in interest, so in the long run you’re essentially spending more money out of pocket. Another big reason to save is when buying a house, it is important for you to at least have enough cash for a down…

Now, I am working on my Gold Project, putting together a pamphlet with information about our support group campout and other resources for the Exstrophy community, which I plan to distribute…

I have served my Church community by participating as an altar server and singing in the Colts Chorus. Both activities encourage me to actively participate in the mass. I also serve my school by participating in the Safety Committee, Environmental Club, and Beta Club. These groups help in school fundraisers, such as Jeans Days. The Squires and Junior High Youth Group help both the Church and the community through activities such as The Special Olympics. They also support groups such as Pro-Life. We, the consumers of America are always trying to get the most “bang for their buck”, often times without realizing the true consequences of such actions. In a world where we’ve been told most our lives that saving money is good thing, you can’t really blame us. We shop at Wal-Mart, clip coupons and sometimes turn into savages on Black Friday. However, we tend to forget the saying “there is no such thing as a free lunch”; there is always someone who suffers when someone benefits. So cheap shopping is really just cheap buying which in-turn means cheap wages on the other end. Furthermore, we seem to think that all these rock-bottom prices and blockbuster deals are necessary and almost justified because of our false perception that prices have continued to go up over the last decade. Since most production is now being done overseas, the consequences of our “addiction” don’t seem to be noticed by most Americans.…

While helping to support the needy, it is important to remember to not just give things to people who are less fortunate than others, but to "assist" them in doing things that they may want or need to do. This can be done by showing others our love for them and our love for God by our actions more than our words. But someone may say, "One person has faith, another has actions." My answer is, "Show me how anyone can have faith without actions. I will show you my faith by my actions." (James. 2.18, Today's English Version) Showing faith by actions would be to help out someone in need with a smile on our face and not complaining about it later. "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Cor. 9.7, New International Version) Each person should give spiritually, and also physically.…
