Koravia Longino People should not be able to own property in space. I say this because people don’t think about the dangers in Space it could be a lot of dangers and it could only be a little. If people were to build houses in outer space and they wanted to stay there they would be a lot of workers there and if one of them gets hurt and their family sues they will leave you in a lot of trouble. Also, you cannot breathe in space without all that stuff to support you breathing. If you are by the sun then without thinking you might get hot and take the helmet off .What’s going to happen you’re not going to be able to breathe. Also, ill include that there is no electricity. So if you really like to be on your phone you might not even want to go to space. Because …show more content…
What if you wanted to excise in space there would be no things there to run and you also can’t touch the ground unless you try really hard. Also it might take years to get there. What if you don’t have any patience if it takes a year to get there then by the 5th month you would want to go home by then? Also what if you forgot you owned land in space and they send you your land taxes and its thousands of dollars, and you send it back and once you realize that you have land in space your land taxes are like a million dollars and its going to take you a long time for you to pay all your land taxes. What if you float away in space? It can happen you could forget to hook the thing up to the spaceship and walk outside and you can float away and nobody can help you unless you they are fast enough. You wont be able to see because there will be no lights because there are no electricity in space you can’t sleep comfortable because without gravity to keep you

It allows humans to acquire different forms of data such as solar waves, meteor showers, and even for us to see stars die. Space is like a massive vacuum that has no oxygen so if a person gets caught in space without a spacesuit and supporting equipment they will die. Astronauts can also have complications adjusting to the harsh environments that are experienced on the moon and other planets, which is unhealthy and can be life threatening (apecsec.org). Often times, an astronaut will also experience sickness such as nausea while traveling through the atmosphere to reach orbit. Another health risk is caused by easier exposure to UV rays from the sun which can cause a variety of cancers to the human body. There is also risk of an unknown diseases being attracted while traveling through the atmosphere (occupytheory.org). Along with the great dangers of space exploration, it also comes at a very high financial…

I can only imagine what it would be like traveling to space. It is not something I sit around and think about doing. Those who had the pleasures of going to space, like the astronauts, are those who had been preparing for such a career. This does not make me want to go to space, going to space is like dying and going to the other side, you just do not know what to expect. Science tells us that space is like a never ending hole. This sounds a little creepy, but space really is not all that scary, it is quite amazing actually. Science tells us that space is a galaxy with many stars, planets, and rocks. However, I am against civilians in space because civilians are inexperienced and the cost can become extremely high.…

Jean-Paul Satre, a philosopher of the 20th century, stated that “ownership extends beyond objects to include intangible things…”. I believe that this is true; that ownership can involve material items as well as intangible things such ideas, experiences, and memories. Ownership is fundamentally important in the creation of self-identity, as the ownership of both the tangible and the intangible help to form morals, personality, and character traits that are utilized to form self-identity.…

    Benefits of NASA

Since the beginning of time there have always been those that have opposed exploration of uncharted lands. This statement holds truth also for the NASA program since the beginning when President John F. Kennedy's vision was to ‘land a man on the moon by the end of the decade.' Instead of all the opposition of NASA and questions such as, "Why should we go to space?" I believe people should ask themselves, "Why shouldn't we go to space?" Christopher Columbus didn't have to sail over the Atlantic Ocean and discover America, he could have stayed in Europe but then we may not be living in the United States of America. Christopher Columbus and many others human didn't stop but continued to explore because they are humans. We as humans have an instinctive nature to explore and discover. This is seen especially in children. When toddlers see something such as a shiny object, they investigate it by picking it up, feeling it and maybe tasting it. As we grow, it is only necessary that we as humans continue their search to discover and explore. If the excitement and thrill of exploration isn't enough for you, there are also many benefits that NASA and space exploration contribute.…

Lyme Disease is a major problem, especially in New England, which is where it started. Lyme Disease is spread around by deer ticks; they feed on an organism and that organism may get infected. The bacteria that causes Lyme Disease is Borrelia Burgdorferi, a spirochete that causes a lot of damage to your body. However, there are two different solutions that could stop Lyme Disease from spreading even more: vaccines and population control. Deer ticks get Lyme from the mice they prey on as larvae. If the mice were given vaccines, that would stop the ticks from spreading Lyme. On the other hand, if the mice populations were lowered, the number of Lyme Disease cases might get reduced too.…

Its fact that space exploration is an exceedingly expensive business. It is a multi-billion dollar industry, with low initial expectations being achieved. For example by 2011, the average cost per flight of the space shuttle (alone) was estimated at $450 million dollars, or $18,000 per kilometre to low earth orbit. Many, many people in the world live in slums or worse on the streets not knowing were their next meal may come from. Still the population funds NASA to go into space, for what? To achieve advancements in technology or medicines. This money could be used to create some things right here on earth and possibly gain the same results, for the poor and ill. Also the high costs could lead to substantial economic loss and great difficulty involving money may appear causing possible strain on the nation. Overall, the significant amount of money spent each year on going into space could be used to achieve more realistic and…

Space exploration is the discovery and exploration of outer space by the means of space technology. This means that useful and resourceful discoveries are being made every time that we send up humans into space. Over the years, space exploration has expanded technology to great heights, helped create new industries, and help create a peaceful relationship between nations. Space Biology is another huge reason why we should keep space exploration. NASA laboratories lead to new technologies that improve astronaut health and monitoring, while making scientific discoveries that benefit life on Earth. Another amazing that thing that space exploration has done for people on Earth is help make huge strides in the continuing development of artificial limbs. These are for people who have lost either an arm or leg and NASA has helped develop artificial muscle for a flexible robotic arm! Now, I am going to discuss three main topics about why we should keep space exploration. They are Economic, Ethical, and Environmental.…
