From face value, these two men couldn’t be anymore different. Jekyll is an established member of society, and Hyde is not. By the end of the novel, readers discover that the truth about Jekyll and Hyde. Even though Jekyll seems to have everything going for him in life, he has the darkness of Hyde inside of him. Luckily for him, whenever he wants to let that darkness out, physically he gets to transform into a completely different person.
