In the movie The Hunger Games there are lots of immoral actions or behaviours that are committed by the people in the Districts and Panem. The immoral actions by the Panem are that the government abuses the power over the Districts by taking the crops and the resources that they produce and giving little in return. This results in poverty, diseases, death, limited amounts of power and technology for the Districts. They encourage the violence and inhumane deaths of the Tributes which result in the Tributes forgetting their own moral codes for survival or the glory of being a victor. The biggest immoral action of the capital is taking away the freedom and rights of the districts, especially the tributes who enter the games while the game makers control everything they do. For example, when Katniss had almost reached the edge of the arena the game makers started a fire and controlled it to push Katniss back towards the other tributes. They were not worried about her when she is burnt by a fireball. This shows how little the game makers and the government care about the tributes and enjoy watching them suffer.
The unmoral issues in the Truman Show are a lot like The Hunger Games. Truman is kept from having freedom and rights by Christof who controls his life and what happens around him as Christof wants the money and he thinks it the right thing to do as he inspires people. Due to this, Truman is kept from the outside world and is unaware that he is a live TV show whereas in The Hunger Games the tributes knew they were being filmed. When Truman starts to get suspicious Christof tries to hide that
