Obviously the most important person in Christianity is Jesus but outside of that there is a very big debate on who the most important Christian is. There are almost two parts to this debate the most important Christian in the bible and the most important Christian outside the bible. In this instance the two debates will be combined because of the impact this person had on Christianity. The most important Christian ever would be Peter not only because he was one of the twelve disciples, but because he was the closest to Jesus and had an important role in the crucifixion of Christ.

After this Jesus told Peter about himself and Peter did not hesitate to follow which made Peter the first disciple. This shows that Peter can be a role model for Christianity because just like all of us he was a sinful man then when he heard the word of Jesus he dropped everything to follow him and tried his best to be just like him.
Another trait that shows how Peter is the most important Christian is how he always shows his faith in Jesus. Whenever Jesus suggested something Peter was not afraid to ask questions even though he always would follow Jesus no matter what he told him to do. His loyalty to Christ was just as every Christian is told to have. Peter really had to believe in Jesus to follow him for the time that he did especially because of the fact that he was the first follower of Jesus therefore he was the first Christian ever.
