Expo 2020
Expo 2020
What is Expo?
Expo is the largest mix of trading exhibitions, and it isn’t a new concept, Expo has been going on since 1851 when it started back in London. There were many produced projects such as Eiffel Tower, the Telephone, ice cream, and Heinz Tomato Ketchup! Now I bet you’re wondering why is everyone excited about winning the Expo 2020? Well if we’re successful this can get us a massive boost our city’s economy, and stabilize its recovery from the 2008 and 2009 financial crisis. The decision will be made on the 27th of November.
What will happen if we win?
Well if we win our country will be able to lend jobs to many people and also there will be hospitality and there might as well be better transportation.
If the UAE succeeds in winning the bid for World Expo 2020, there will be a new motivation to economic growth in the years to come, which will supply a ‘sizeable share’ to the emirate’s gross native production annually, experts say.
Although advisors, economists and financial analysts are unable to give an exact figure if the expo bid succeeds, they have an agreement that the mega event will bring enormous economic benefits to the country by generating economic activities worth billions of dirhams and creating thousands of new job opportunities in various regions.

An anonymous economist with a leading bank said that five cities are in competition and only one will win the Expo 2020 and it will cause a huge impact on the country and the winning city.

The second was the development by Motorola of the “luggable” cellular telephone prototype, to be launched commercially in 1973.…
