EXPORT
DEFINITION :The term export means shipping the goods and services out of the port of a country. The seller of such goods and services is referred to as an "exporter" who is based in the country of export whereas the overseas based buyer is referred to as an "importer". In International Trade, "exports" refers to selling goods and services produced in the home country to other markets.Export of commercial quantities of goods normally requires involvement of the customs authorities in both the country of export and the country of import.
• Export means to send goods or services across nationlal frontiers for the purpose of selling and realising foreign exchange.
• Export of goods occurs when there is a change of ownership from a resident to a non-resident; this does not necessarily imply that the good in question physically crosses the frontier. However, in specific cases national accounts impute changes of ownership even though in legal terms no change of ownership takes place
(e.g. cross border financial leasing, cross border deliveries between affiliates of the same enterprise, goods crossing the border for significant processing to order or repair).
• Export of services consist of all services rendered by residents to non-residents. In national accounts any direct purchases by non-residents in the economic territory of a country are recorded as exports of services; therefore all expenditure by foreign tourists in the economic territory of a country is considered as part of the exports of services of that country. Also international flows of illegal services must be included.
• National accountants often need to make adjustments to the basic trade data in order to comply with national accounts concepts; the concepts for basic trade statistics often differ in terms of definition and coverage from the requirements in the national accounts:
• Data on international trade in goods are mostly obtained through declarations to custom services. If a country applies the general trade system, all goods entering or leaving country are recorded.
• An export's counterpart is an import.

On a Macroeconomic level exports assist the success of imports within the nation and therefore help the expansion of the economy. Furthermore exports help Australia take advantage of economies of scale. Due to the fact that Australia is a small country, known in exporting mostly agricultural and mining products the domestic market is limited in growth, exporting is therefore needed to expend into different markets.…

Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a novel that makes a stance on how no single human being is not all good. While humans are the most well developed mammal on planet Earth there is a reason that they are still considered a part of the Animal Kingdom. There is a savage, almost evil instinct buried in each human being. The events of the past and circumstances surrounding the human are the deciding factors of whether or not the evil instinct is released. The novel, Lord of the Flies, draws attention to this topic with three main characters. The theme of civilization vs. savagery is a theme carried by the plot of the novel; innocence and sanity are what are lost as a result of savagery. Golding uses Ralph,…

A more systematic approach to exporting requires a considerable more thorough planning and investments. The firm should start by identifying the most qualified distributors and estimate market and sales potential; then the company should assess its resources and organize for exporting; another important process would be acquiring needed skills and competencies for the exporting process, such as a logistics department for international sales; and last but not least, they should adapt their products to foreign markets and their different needs.…

An import is any good or service brought into one country from another country in a legitimate fashion, typically for use in trade. Import goods or services are provided to domestic consumers by foreign producers. An import in the receiving country is an export to the sending country. Imports, along with exports, form the basis of international trade. Import of goods normally requires involvement of the Customs authorities in both the country of import and the country of export and is often subject to import quotas, tariffs and trade agreements. When the "imports" are the set of goods and services imported, "Imports" also means the economic value of all goods and services that are imported. The macroeconomic variable I usually stand for the value of these imports over a given period of time, usually one year.…
