Leadership and management in adult care are significantly influenced by internal and external drivers. To ensure the best results, they must adapt to changing legislation, technological developments and cultural expectations. They can successfully navigate the difficulties that arise in the ever-changing field of adult care by remaining knowledgeable and adaptable. Not only do they need to ensure that staff are motivated and well-trained, but they also need to be flexible enough to adapt to changes in technology, patient demands, legislation and effectively address the changes and opportunities presented by changes in adult care by educating themselves and taking proactive measures.
