What will it take to get customers into movie theaters? It is uncertain over how many people want their movies delivered; mostly in today’s economy people would rather have convenience over quality. Even now that the technology is getting far most advanced they don’t need to watch a movie at the theater if they can enjoy it in their own home. To get more people to attend a theater one must consider the external components, external trends, and what stake holders are important to movie theater chains.

Another factor is social cultural, where people like watching movies in their own home these days to avoid crowds and inconvenient seats. Next, a manager should consider what external trends will affect the movie industry. There are many external trends that a manager may face in the movie theater; one general factor trend is the streaming movies from YouTube and some similar networks. Even though they have movies on demand the movie industry has to also manage the competition with satellite and cable connections. One trend that the movie industry cannot control is the illegal movies and songs downloading. There can also be some external factors like legal and political were the manager of the movie
