Like I understand you’re trying to be nice, but there comes a point when it’s just too much. I hold in too much stuff. I feel like I’m dying on the inside. If I try to tell anyone they will just look at me like I’m crazy so I don’t see any sense in trying to express myself.
“Jared I heard about this new job at Yankee Stadium, I was wondering if you would be interested?” said my best friend and coworker Brad.
“What kind of job is it?”
“Field crew member, you know work on the field and make it look amazing everyday for games.”
“Oh my god! That’s my dream job. Sign me up.”
“The only thing is there is only one spot available and they think there will be over 500 applicants.”
“That’s ok. I know I can beat everyone out for it. I would do anything for that job.”
I knew something was going to pop up in my life like this. This may be the break I needed. I have to get this job. I have always wanted to work on a baseball field for a living. This would be a dream come true.
“When do they start taking offers for the job?”
“Tomorrow actually, they are having a skills competition to see who is most capable for the job.”
“Ok, sounds good. Are you gonna be there
