Extrinsic Skin Aging Research Paper

Indeed, the aging of the skin is influenced by two separate processes. The first one, the general aging process, is the genetically determined aging. As it occurs simply by time passing, it is the most commonly known of these two processes. Scientifically speaking, this particular aging is called the intrinsic skin aging process, whereas the second process, which is induced by environmental factors, is named extrinsic skin aging. 
Each skin aging process leads to characteristic skin aging signs. The intrinsic skin aging process for instance is characterized by functional alterations rather than by morphological changes when, on the contrary, the extrinsic skin aging process is characterized by striking morphologic and physiologic changes.
