“The FBI’s National Joint Terrorism Task Force manages more than 100 FBI Task Forces around the country”(Welcome). The Federal Bureau of Investigation is a federal law enforcement agency that works hard every day and night to keep our homeland safe. Many high stake crimes that happen like cyber crime or even terrorism have been handled by the FBI. However, not just anybody is cut out to have the job as a special agent. Ensuring a career in the Federal Bureau of Investigation requires insight into the career, perception of available work locations, having an asserted extent of education, supplementary involvement in this field of expertise, and knowledge of a predetermined college.
A job in the FBI can have many structures. Some specific activities an FBI agent might take part in could be anywhere from homicides to cybercrime. Some of the well known cases investigated by the FBI includes the escape from Alcatraz, the investigation of Al-Capone, …show more content…
The FBI has a vetting process that is sole purpose is to determine whether someone may be a suitable agent. First, one must have a proper schooling; the FBI’s requirement for schooling is at least a bachelor's degree (Welcome). Although the FBI only requires a bachelor's degree, it can be a higher degree. The FBI also suggests getting a degree in a field or interest to the FBI, such as cyber security, homeland defense, or criminal law (Welcome). Having a degree in a related thing to what is being worked on in the FBI could help get the job. One must have patience when applying for the FBI; the FBI interviews friends and neighbors and checks up on all past education to make sure all the requirements are met (Smith). The FBI does this to ensure the applicant is the right person for the job. Education definitely helps one get the job as an agent, however, the FBI makes it very easy to catch the eye of a
