Give three examples from the film which illustrates the concept of ethos and ethics in connection with LR and Marcia. LR in some part of the movie had ethos but he never had ethics. In his relationship with Marcia he had ethos in the begging of the movie when he was in the jail singing and talking using his great charisma of speak. In addition, he lost the Goodwill with her when he lies about his first marriage, and when he marries betty-lou while he engaged to Marcia. Moreover, he doesn’t have ethical with her because of many reasons such as he lie and cheat on Marcia. He never respects her and he forgets how much she helps him. In the other hand, Marcia is a good person has ethos and ethics. For example, Marcia help LR to be famous, she always being honest to him, and she forgive him many time. in the end of the Movie Marcia prove how much ethics she have when she let the audience hear what LR think and talk about them.
Pick out three other characters of your choice and describe how they illustrate the concept of ethos and ethics. (At least two examples are needed here). Daplamer is one of the major characters of the movie but he don’t have the concept of ethos and ethics in his personality for example, he take advantage about what happened between LR and Mr.Lufler and he goes against Mr. Luftler’s job ( he was office assistant for Mr. Luftler). Another example make him non ethics, he slept with LR wife and make a deal with her without telling LR. Another Character is Betty lou she does not have ethics because she accept to marry somebody who do not have ethics (he use her to be more famous). And she cheating on him and make a deal with Daplamer( LR agent). The best characters and personality is Mil Miller because he have the concept of ethos and ethics for example, he is a writer with a strong personality and great Charisma. Moreover, he is honest with Marcia and he supports her and loves her for real.
Did the media exploit Lonesome Rhoads him or he did he exploit the media? Or was it both? Give three examples which support your reasoning? In my opinion, both the media and LR exploit one another to achieve the interests. The media exploit LR to promote some products such as the mattress and Vitajx medicine. In the other side some politics people use LR to support their political ideas such as Gen Hainsworth. In the other hand, LR exploits the media to be famous and have more money. I’m sure between LR and the media a common interest which is making money and controlling the audience.
Do you think fame and the public sphere adds to speaker ethos? If so, does audience perception need to change or does the media agenda need to change? Or both? Yes I think fame give people ethos. This is why many people believe what they hear from the TV more than anything else and think that the people in the TV are perfect. I’m sure that the audiences have to change and think more before believe anybody on the TV. In the other hand, is hard to change the media because the media job is to exploits the audiences to make more money or support political idea. This is why when we hear something non ethical about anybody famous, we shocked and it will became the unusual news in the whole country because we expect them always right .

Do you think ethos in private life should be evaluated for political leaders, and people in public positions such as doctors, lawyers, teachers, ect…If so, why does this aspect need to observed? Or is the difference for political leaders rather than professions in the public eye? Back up you assumptions with examples in the news media.
In my opinion the person with ethos in private life have ethos with anything because we can’t chose when we want to have ethos and when we don’t want. For some people they use ethos like a mask specially the political people when they trying to put the public interest over their interest. Moreover, in politics ethos may change in response to new ideas or forces. For example, the political people who promise to do many things for the community but in fact they do many things for their self.
How do you feel about this film? If you did not like it explain why. If you like the film address why it reached your viewer? I like this movie because is make me aware about the mass media very well and the people inside this box and how much the media can control our life, believe and interest in many way. To be honest, the TV affects me and I was believed that the people on the TV never lie and I like to buy the product I see on the TV. But today I learn that I have to think before I believe everything on the TV. Most important, the concept of framing now is totally different. Another reason make this movie great movie even though is old movie is that the movie make me feel how much the audience are stupid because we let the media and the people work their control our mentally and we do forgive them whatever they do because we like their voice or the way they look like. The final reason makes me like this movie is the strong ending for this movie and how the people with lack of ethics will go down. Most interesting scene is the last speech for Mell miller and how he describes us as an audience and describes the truth about mass media.
