Moral dilemmas are often met as one tries to take decisions in critical situations. The confusion arises as the manager has to balance the equilibrium among all stakeholders and simultaneously keeping the financial state of the company healthy. Such a critical case is that of the Ebola disease in Africa. With more than 2100 infections and 1100 deaths, this phenomenon has now turned into the most archived Ebola episode. (Rid and Emanuel 2014). The Australian Pharmaceutical Corporation has developed a vaccine to cure the disease but Australian Laws demand a trial of 10 years before its use. In order to decide whether to send the vaccine or not, the three ethical decision making model will be applied. The main model that will be used is the Utilitarian model.…

Laundry is a daily chore that must be done. I do not know of anyone who enjoys the daily ritual of cleaning clothes but with a few easy steps it does not have to be such a hassle. There is also some pre-planning steps you can take that will save you time and frustration. The first and most important step in the laundry process is to be prepared. Make sure you have all the supplies you need to get the job done before you get started. You will need laundry detergent. You can buy powder or liquid detergent, but I prefer liquid because powder detergent does not always dissolve completely and you can substitute liquid detergent for stain remover in a pinch. You will also need a stain remover, such as Shout, and bleach. Bleach now comes in a color safe version so you can use it on all your clothes, not just whites. I also recommend using a liquid fabric softener in the wash but you will need sheets for the dryer as well. Most washing machines have a place to put it or you can buy a ball that goes in the washer and releases the fabric softener at the right time. Also, you will need a basket for your dirty clothes to go in.. I keep several so I can sort them as they get dirty instead of digging through one basket to get a load. Once you have all your supplies you are ready to start. Depending on what you are washing you will need to adjust the setting on your washer. For example towels can be washed on heavy duty but finer linens such as silks need a more delicate setting. Start the washer and add the detergent and any bleach as the water begins to fill. If you do not already have your laundry separated in baskets, you will need to go through everything to get a load ready. Like colors and fabrics…

To be perfectly honest, when I was nominated to attend We Day last November, I was excited for only one shallow reason: some of the cast of Degrassi would be there. Degrassi is a Canadian teen melodrama that I watched religiously throughout my middle school and high school years. I find it ironic that something that had been a colossal waste of my time would actually lead me to find my passion in life.…

Everything we do in life involves some kind of process to get it accomplished. Whether it is tying our shoes, baking a cake, or changing the oil in the car. People do things differently and have certain steps they take, in their own way, to get it done. This essay could be written about practically anything, but it will be about how to carve a jack-o-lantern. Carving a pumpkin is actually pretty easy. With a few quick, straight cuts with a knife, triangular eyes, a nose, and a toothy smile can be made. The result is a face that almost anyone will recognize, even if it was not drawn on a piece of paper. It is the face of a jack-o-lantern. Carving a really memorable jack-o-lantern can take a bit more planning, involving steps such as, preparing the pumpkin, actually carving the pumpkin, and getting the pumpkin finished and ready to put on display.…

Have you ever compared store bought lasagna to a home-made one? There is no comparison, home-made wins every time. It may seem like a hassle to make your own, but in reality it is not that difficult. You will also be more satisfied in the quality and taste of your lasagna if you make it yourself. It’s a great meal to share with your family or just to save in the refrigerator and eat throughout the week. If you are conscious about your health this lasagna will be good to make because it uses chicken not meat. In order to make this lasagna you need to gather your ingredients, prepare the ingredients, and put the dish together and bake it.…

Our school has an ICT policy that gives guidelines for all when working with ICT in the classroom or ICT suite. All adults in the school have to sign a form to say that when using ICT equipment in school we will not access any inappropriate content and will only use the resources in school for educational purposes. All ICT problems should be reported to the relevant ICT team and if we cannot resolve it ourselves then we have an additional specialist who comes in once a week to look at issues that we cannot resolve in house.…

A few courses at the University of the People are considered proctored courses. Proctoring means “one appointed to supervise students, as at an examination” (“Proctor,” n.d. para 1). University of the People require Proctored exams because, as many other universities agree “Proctors are used to ensure academic integrity during the exam.” (Exams and Proctoring. n.d.). This would also indicate that this person is impartial or unbiased toward the student when supervising them. It wouldn’t be much good to have a person supervise a student, if they will allow them to cheat, have someone else help them, or commit some other act of unseemly exam practices. University of the people requires Proctored Exams to be completed to successfully pass proctored courses, and University of the People has a required amount of proctored exams per degree. These need to be successfully completed prior to graduation. Undergraduate Catalogue. (2016),…

I am writing this letter concerning my absences last January 23 up to January 26 2017. It was around 1:30 pm when I messaged Tutor Support on Skype that I have to cancel my lessons for the rest of the day and the day after (January 24, 2017). I was advised by my pediatrician to rush my daughter to the hospital due to the fact that she has been vomiting and suffering from severe diarrhea. On the 25th of January, we were still confined in the hospital but was later released at 8:30 pm in the evening.…

What a blissful experience it is when a newborn baby is brought home from the hospital for the first time, nothing is more rewarding then holding your baby in your arms. No matter how much you love your child there comes a time when you don't want to hold them as close to you; it is the time when you realize that you must change your little ones diaper. Changing a child's diaper is not something that anyone looks forward to do. At the same time, it is a task that all parents must take the time to learn beforehand, so that the experience is as quick and soothing as possible for the baby.…
