Facility Planning Considerations
Planning and design for an outpatient student health center is a comprehensive task that involves great depth and understanding. There will need to be a balance between available space, safety, functionality and colors, and furnishings. The planning process will need to account for the needs of the student health center along with the services offered. A stress-free and appealing environment is a priority. The design will address the rules and regulations, the color selection and noise issues, list of equipment needed, and electronic items needed. This essay will also include an examination of budget planning and cost estimates, a description of the role of stakeholders, and a Gnat chart that details an implementation plan.
