The main purpose of the organization is to plan, develop, and implement dropout recovery programs that provide accelerated and compensatory instructional services for students from 14 to 21 years of age. Esperanza School District has created a Plan Do Study Act cycle to strategically focus its resources on identified wants, preferences, and needs of its community. The PDSA planning and thinking process will lead to a stronger and more vital school district. This process will be on-going as Esperanza Charter School moves into the future if it succeeds in accomplishing the PDSA cycle. This strategic plan is intended to help the school focus its resources in a manner that will benefit the enrolled students best. Whilst preparing this assignment my Primary research was collated by using both personal observation and informal discustions with fellow peer group members, I conducted my Secondary research by colleting existing data gathered from both my Primary research as well as using the internet in order to access reviews, government statements and information as well as theories and principles used and developed by educational experts, I have also used the local library to access reference material in the form of books and the e-library and as an additional reference method. Once evaluating the collected data I then developed an Action Plan in order to achieve my desired goals.…

The article New challenges in elementary social studies addresses the lack of learning in social studies. Many teachers and administrators tend to leave out social studies from the daily planning because they do not feel a need for it. Elementary education and early childhood are not introduced to social studies except for when there are holidays. This causes problems for secondary education because teachers have to worry about what the students has been taught and what they know so they know where to start and how to start their lessons. Students are not prepared appropriately for secondary education.…

It is evident that low socioeconomic districts do not have as much material as higher socioeconomic districts. However, it is not only the materials that effect the literacy environment, but the lack of resources to expand outside of the classroom in low SES districts where higher SES districts can bring students elsewhere to showcase their work (Duke, 2000). Although schools may be a contributing factor to low academic achievement in literacy, especially in low SES districts, they have began looking at strategies to implement differentiation with hopes of academically reaching the needs of their students.…

Time and again farmers, plant growers, and backyard owners of vegetable garden have been complaining of rising cost of inorganic fertilizers such as complete and Urea. The result is that they disregard the use of these fertilizers and left their plants without it. In the end, the result is low produce and their plants are malnourished and worst less fruit. This Science Investigatory Project (SIP) entitled “Left-Over Rice: A Cheap and Practical Compost Enhancer for 28-32 days” was conducted in order to answer the problems of the farmers and plant growers. With this project, we used left-over rice from the canteens and from our households. Other materials were vegetable trimmings, fruit peelings like banana in which we got from wet markets. This Project is very useful to the community in general because they can make use of their biodegradable waste into productive use such as compost. On the other hand, compost are cheap and environment friendly organic fertilizers which can make the plants grow healthy as well as the soil fertile. The biodegradable waste such as rice instead of throwing them away can be made useful. In the end, this project will be a solution to the problem on poverty and hunger. The increase in farm output will effect additional income to the farmers. The abundant farm output can solve the problem in hunger. The community as well, can sell this compost, thereby augmenting also their household income.…
