Fair Hunting Argumentative Essay

Opponents claim poachers are being inhumane by violating the fair chase ethic. Fair chase is a term used by hunters to describe an approach to hunting big game animals. Population of endangered and non-endangered species are falling due to poachers. People are poaching and killing, not for food, but for the pure joy of killing animals illegally. Oppositionists state that poachers are killing for the money involved. Hunting is primarily a recreational activity for people wanting to get away and have fun. There are specific months and days of the year to hunt different species. It is an important tool for wildlife management and reduce the number of animals where overpopulation is a problem (Hunting, 2016).
