Faith Based Organisations (FBOs) are regarded as the most prominent organisations because it improves the lives of the poor. Hence, without FBOs in place lot of people would be suffering from poverty and poor health. FBOs refers to solid group of people sharing the similar religious or spiritual beliefs. One can argue that people in power use money allocated to deliver services to people for their personal interest with hope that FBOs will provide with services meant to be delivered by state. Moreover, Tanzania is regarded as one of the countries that depends and puts all its hope to FBOs without hiding it to people. Tanzania believes that to ensure development, help should be asked from FBOs in delivering education and health services. State try to control schools, hospitals owned by religious groups and claim that they want to ensure that services are accessible to everyone in spite individual religious belief. However, the state is not doing it for people, but it is trying to hide its own failure. FBOs use donations to provide services to people including funding from other countries. However, the state can be questioned on why FBOs have to depend on external funds to develop the people and the country. Why the state does not fund FBOs.
