The European Commission was the first regulatory authority to impose a CPDLC mandate for aircraft operators flying above FL 285 over its territory. For most operators, forward fit or retrofit requirements are based on whether the first issuance of individual Certificate of Airworthiness (CoA) was before or after January 1, 2011. Retrofit For airplanes with first individual CoA issued before January 01, 2011, operators must have their airplanes equipped with ATN-B1 CPDLC for all flights above FL 285 on February 5, 2015 at the latest. Air Navigation Service Providers EC N°29/2009 contains also requirements applicable to Air Traffic Service Providers. As a result: ATN-B1 services are already available in the Maastricht, Karlsruhe, Zurich and Geneva airspace From February 2013, ATN-B1 services is mandated over most of the western European airspace (in yellow) From February 2015, ATN-B1

When designing this new system the importance of both standards in network as well as the importance of communication protocols will help to make sure the network works smoothly and devices on the network can talk to each other. Currently Kudler is using a SONET which is “An ANSI standard, incorporated into the SDH standard, that defines a line rate hierarchy and frame formats for use with high-speed optical fiber transmission systems” (Goleniewski & Jarrett, 2007, p. 800)…

In this paper I will discuss how Kudler Fine Foods is in the process of developing a new frequent shopper program and describe the potential legal, ethical, and information security concerns related to the development of the Kudler Fine Foods Frequent Shopper Program. I would like to go into a little detail of the company, Kathy Kudler is the founder and owner of the company and their first location is located in La Jolla, San Diego CA. Kathy basically wanted a place from which people and chefs can purchase high end food and cooking tools for cooking. Kudler Fine Food has three store fronts and now expanding online as well. The Unit 2 Individual project states that I am to determine the year-to-year percentage annual growth in total net sales for the Micro Chip Computer Corporation. After looking at the chart I do not think that the Micro Computer Corporation is going to make the +10% annual revenue growth in 2009. I got this by taking each year and adding them together and then dividing them to get the year-to-year growth. After doing this I took all of the percentages and averaged them out. This is showing that there is a -3.1% drop. Also using the CAGR there is a -6.8% which is not helping the company show that it will make the revenue growth. With this it will be very hard for the company to actually make a +10% revenue growth in 2009. Below is showing the loss and gains that were made every year.…

These transmission standards are commonly referred to as (T-X) for North American, (E-X) for European and (J-E) for Japanese, while the second transmission being Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) or Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) (Telecom and Network Speeds website, 2011).…

Since the beginning of World War I, key military analysts have begun to realize the importance of airpower over the battlefield. It has been said throughout the years that “he who controls the air, also controls the battlefield”. Though some have disputed this statement, the truth has always been proven to analysts after the war when evaluations can be made. The three branches of military that currently use fighter/bomber aircraft are the Air Force, Navy, and Marines. During the military’s vast aviation history, all three branches of service have used separate aircraft. In his book “Ultimate Fighter”, Bill Sweetman, an experienced aviation journalist, states that “if there was one element of Joint Advanced Strike Technology that aroused skepticism, it was the idea that one aircraft could work for every service” (42). That is exactly what the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program hopes to accomplish, but can it? The F-35 is attempting to do what many have failed at previously: meet the specific needs and requirements of all three service branches, incorporate years of compiled information into state-of-the-art equipment, and accomplish all this at a very competitive price.…
