Midrail systems installed midway between top edge of GR system and platform v. Screens and mesh must extend from top edge of GR system to scaffold platform vi. Intermediate members span no more than 19” vii. MIN 100lb downward force of top rail for Single or double point suspension MIN 200lb for all other scaffolds. viii. Top edge can’t deflect below 38” ix. MIN 75lbs downward force on Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, & solid members for 100 lbs top rail MIN 150 lbs for 200 lbs top rail x. Hoists and non-walkthrough stirrups may be used as end guardrails – if it doesn’t allow passage to the end of the scaffold. xi.
