Falls Committee Thesis
I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone for your hard work and commitment to the Falls Committee. I have learned so much in the last couple of years, and I would like to thank each of you for your dedication in making the Falls Committee a success! Overall, with increasing education and awareness of our fall prevention and management program, we as a committee have been able to decrease the rate of falls, the number of falls, and increase compliance with our Falls program for our organization as a whole! That is great work! This happened because of all of you and your commitment to the Falls Committee. It was a pleasure working with all of you! I thank you all for all of the work you do!

The video we watch regarding the veterans from 761st really sparks a lot of questions within me. I never quite understood why African Americans fought to defend a country that was not their native land. Nor could I figure out why they would want to defend the same people who enslaved them and ignored them even after they helped them win the war. However the video was really insightful because it allowed me to see that we truly are the reason America is so great and without us it would have crumpled. This video shows that if we wanted to make this black america because we have put more into this society than the white man ever could. It was very sad to see that even though those African American males were the reason they won the battle, they still did not get credit until years later.…

In the year 1861, while President Abraham Lincoln was in office, shots were fired at Union troops at Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor. Lincoln requested the help of 75,000 troops to protect the nation’s capital. At this time of the rebellion, the state of Virginia was assumed to be contributing to the revolt, however, had made no decision whether or not to secede. In 1861, General Irvin McDowell commanded his federal troops to surround Arlington House and became a headquarters for the Union Army.…

Most people have heard of the Common Core, but they may not know that it is now in use in 42 of the 50 states in the US. Now that the Common Core has been so widely accepted, it is as well-known as it is controversial. Since I was aware that there were many concerns about the Common Core, I wanted to know more about them. During the course of my research I hoped to discover a number of things. First, I wanted to know exactly what the Common Core is and some about its history. Second, I wanted to know why this change is so important to people. Lastly, I wanted to know why it is such a divisive subject. These questions deserve to be looked into because the Common Core is affecting and will affect many students across the United States.…

I want to thank you again for an unbelievable learning experience the past 12 weeks here at Spine. I had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and am sincerely appreciative that you challenged me to reach my greatest potential. In retrospect I was able to achieve all of my goals and more this summer. Your guidance and support regarding my projects has helped me excel and gain a valuable understanding of pre-market regulatory functions that I will be able to carry with me in years to come. You went beyond my expectations allowing me to go to the RA convergence meeting, visit Orthobiologics, and participate in the sales training cadaver lab. You were understanding and flexible of my coursework as well. It was a pleasure working…

Student council has afforded me with so many opportunities and MASC Hyannis will only add to these amazing experiences. These experiences are ones that I will remember for a lifetime and help me grow as a person. As a student council representative, I have done my best to become involved and contribute to the council. In August I participated in StartSTRONG which opened my eyes and eased my tensions on high school. I learned all about what the MHS Student Council has to offer. In September I ran for Member at Large for my class and while I didn't win; I learned quite a few thing from that experience. I learned that it does not matter what position or how much power I have, I decide how active of a student council member…

The Holocaust was the most gruesome and memorable event that has happened in history. More than eleven-million deaths occurred and among that number six-million were Jewish. The prime target, considered not “pure” in Hitler’s eyes. The “master race” or Aryans were considered the “pure” race. That race consists of blonde hair, blue eyed Scandinavian peoples, Danes, Norwegians, Swedish, Dutch, British, and Germanically-related peoples in its hypothetical ranks.Hitler wanted to exterminate everyone who was not of this master race because he thought that Aryans were destined to rule the world and nobody can stand in their way. Any race of group that it was believed would make Germany weak if they continued to live side by side with the perceived perfection of the "The Aryan". Hitler would send the “low ranking” races to concentration camps. Such as Auschwitz Birkenau, the largest camp of them all.The Holocaust was the most gruesome and memorable event that has happened in history.
