Familial Mediterranean Fever is an explosive disorder that causes frequent fevers and painful infection of your abdomen, lungs and joints. Familial fever is an inherited disorder that usually occurs in people of Mediterranean origin- including Sephardic Jews, Arabs, Greeks, Italians, Armenians and Turks, but it may affect any ethnic group. Familial Mediterranean Fever causes a mutated protein, which causes disruptions in control of the immune system. Some organs involved in Mediterranean Fever are kidney, skin and heart. The Familial Mediterranean Fever causes kidney failure, which will lead to many conditions that affect the body. Kidney failure affects the blood, bone, nerves, and skin. Also, it affects body's appetite loss, leg cramps, itching, joint problems, sleeping problems, restless legs, weak bones, and depression. A 48 year old Jewish woman of Sephardi origin, suffering from about three years of biweekly experience of fever up to 39.5 Celsius. The patient was sent to a hospital due to the fact that her fever is unidentified. Doctors have started to run a medical check for any evidence for her fever case. There were about ten tests run on her to determine what the solution is.
