In Romeo and Juliet, there are three very important themes. The first one is: “Family disputes are the worst kind of conflicts”, second: “True love is worth dying for”, and three, “Bad advice always leads to dire consequences. These themes are important because they stuck out the most, though not all the same. Throughout the entire text, the Montagues and the Capulets don’t get along. It might be probable that a lot of what happened unraveled because of the problems the two families had with each other; Romeo and Juliet not being able to get married publicly, and their deaths also. The conflict between the two families played an important role in moving the story along. That night, Romeo will take you away to Mantua” (Shakespeare, Act 5, scene 3). This quote seemed very important because it was the climax of the story, everything that happened after the Friar told Juliet the plan, seemed to happen because of this one decision. Consequently, unfortunate things did happen, and all because the Friar gave them bad advice in their situation, he might as well be the one to blame for their deaths. In the end, “True love is worth dying for”, is the most prominent theme. Though, the other two themes are also very important because of the roles they played in this novel. “True love is worth dying for” is a very powerful, outstanding, and easy theme to understand when reading Romeo and
