RESEARCH PLAN
A. RESEARCH QUESTION
In households, there are termites that cause problems such as destroying our things but the available solution is very costly so we come with this research that aims to terminate termites in a cheaper way. The study determines the effectiveness of beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) as a termite terminator.
It will answer the following questions:
1. Does phytochemical analysis of beechwood fruit supports its termicidal property?
2. Is beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) extract effective as termite terminator?
3. Is there significant difference between the commercially available termicide and the beechwood fruit termite terminator?
A. GOALS/ EXPECTED OUTCOMES
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The study aims to make a termicide out of beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea)
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. To conduct phytochemical analysis of beechwood fruit.
2. To test the effectiveness of beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) in killing termites?
3. To identify the significant difference between the beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) termite terminator and the commercially available termicide.
HYPOTHESIS:
1. Phytochemical analysis of beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) supports its termicidal property.
2. Beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) termite terminator is effective in killing termites.
3. There is no significant difference between the commercially available termicide and beechwood fruit (gmelina arborea) termite terminator.
B. METHODOLOGY This study aims to terminate termites by the use of beechwood fruit (gmelin aarborea). We will use experimental methods to test the beechwood fruit using three groups of same number
